It was a day of war where the nation was at a standstill. At the years of 1975 - 1979, a communist party with the Cambodian Regime ruled by Pol Pot, as he noted to kill all who was involved in free market activities.

My father was a soldier that fought to protect his family and friends during the Khmer Rouge. As he left by the end of the Khmer Rouge, to save himself from being slaughtered by the government. while he left, he was married to my mother now, as they traveled together from Cambodia, to hide in Thailand then drifted slowly to the United States of America landing in Georgia. As they settled in Georgia for a couple of years, they decided to shift westward to California with a couple of the family members and settled in the city of Van Nuys. Shortly after the big earthquake in 1994, we've moved to live at the city of North Hills. While we had several hard things to overcome, like how my sister challenged my grandmother's ideology upon Black/African American people. Although it took many years to change her mind; we've found tranquility.

Bamboo, Leaves, Farms Axes, Hoes, Shovels, Work Guns, Mines, Lives Seek and Search, Find routes to better freedom. Rest, take naps - protected. Landed in Georgia Settled in the cold season Its time to shift west California is better New dreams to record More wishes to encounter One Walks - Others Follow I, One of many others Seek change For the better My life is their life Our lives, better future
